Dehradun: (Big News) Dhami Cabinet Approves 12 Proposals, Chief Minister’s Secretary Shailesh Bagoli Shares Details

The Dhami Cabinet meeting has concluded.

Chief Minister’s Secretary Shailesh Bagoli held a press briefing to share the details.

A total of 12 proposals were approved in the meeting.

In the Urban Development Department, 859 environment friends (safai workers) from 2013 will be placed under the dependent of deceased quota.

In the Transport Department, it was decided to keep the subsidy received for petrol, diesel, CNG, and battery-powered vehicles in the SNA account. The vehicle cost must not exceed ₹15 lakh to be eligible for 50% subsidy.

Under the Motor Vehicles Act, electric vehicles were already exempted from tax; now, it has been decided to extend this tax exemption to hybrid vehicles as well.

In the Personnel Department, for two posts—Constable and Sub-Inspector (both considered at constable level)—earlier, exams were conducted separately. Now, it has been decided to hold a common exam for both.

In the Personnel Department, 15 new posts have been created along with the existing 62 posts of the Uttarakhand Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

In the Home Department, under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (Indian Justice Code), the Forensic Science Laboratory will be considered as the departmental head.

In the Human Rights section of the Home Department, earlier there were 47 posts; now 12 new posts will be created.

The Tourism Department has received Cabinet approval for four schemes, including approval of the Badrinath Master Plan. The first projects include the Shesh Netra Lotus Wall, Sudarshan Chowk work, Sudarshan Chowk art installation, and pre- and reverse-culture initiatives.

In the Finance Department, under the Old Pension Scheme, if someone has service under the old scheme and moves to the new scheme, the old service will now be added to the new one for benefit calculation,
