Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami reviews relief and rescue operations from the Uttarkashi Disaster Control Room

In view of the severe natural disaster that struck the Dharali region of Uttarkashi district, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an in-depth review of the relief and rescue operations from the Disaster Control Room in Uttarkashi.

The Chief Minister received factual updates on the situation from senior state administrative officials and army representatives, and directed them to expedite the relief operations.

He informed that rescue and medical camps have been established in the region and that proper arrangements for food and essential supplies are being ensured for the affected people.

The Chief Minister stated that relief and rescue operations have been initiated on a war footing.

Chinook and MI-17 helicopters of the Indian Air Force are on standby, ready to be deployed to ensure prompt action as needed.

The state government is committed to giving top priority to relief efforts and ensuring assistance reaches every affected citizen.
