For the first time, Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun is hosting the DCL (Department Cricket League) match, in which 11 teams from various departments will participate. The matches will be played at night.

DCL President Deepak Joshi stated that the tournament will be played in a format inspired by IPL T20. The main objective of this event is to provide relief and mental relaxation to employees and players from different departments who are usually burdened with paperwork and official stress.
The winning team will receive a trophy along with a cash prize.
