On the occasion of World Health Day, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the Blood Center of Government Medical College, Almora. Junior residents and trainee doctors from the institute participated by donating blood.
Their initiative conveyed a positive message to society — that doctors not only treat patients but also contribute to saving lives by donating blood and other blood products to those in need.

On this occasion, the junior doctors of the medical college urged the general public to come forward and donate blood as well.
Dr. Ashish Jain, in-charge of the blood center, praised the selfless act of the doctors and emphasized the importance of voluntary blood donation to the general public and the patients’ attendants.
