The names of two roads in Haldwani city have been officially changed from today. Nawabi Road will now be known as Atal Path, while the road from Panchakki to ITI has been renamed Guru Golwalkar Marg. Mayor Gajraj Bisht inaugurated both roads, stating that the proposal to rename roads reminiscent of colonial history was presented in the municipal board. The government approved the proposal, and the new names have now been officially implemented.
