Projects to be Inaugurated (Foundation Stone Laying) — 19 Projects worth ₹7,329.06 Crore
Irrigation Department – Song Dam Drinking Water Project – ₹2,491.96 Crore
The proposed Song Dam Drinking Water Project in Dehradun and Tehri districts will provide 150 MLD of drinking water to Dehradun district. A 130-meter-high dam will be constructed under the project. This will improve the water supply of Dehradun city.
Jamrani Dam Drinking Water Project – ₹2,584.10 Crore
The proposed Jamrani Dam Project in Nainital district is a multipurpose project. It will fulfill the requirements of drinking water and irrigation along with electricity generation. The project will provide irrigation to 57,065 hectares of land and generate 14 MW of electricity.
