Sensational Case of Missing Computer, Printer, UPS, and Files from Construction Section in Pauri – Full Report Inside

A sensational case has emerged in the Pauri District Panchayat where a computer, printer, UPS, and official documents have gone missing from the construction section. A four-member departmental inquiry team has confirmed the disappearance of these items from the office of the District Panchayat, Pauri. In connection with the matter, the district panchayat administration has sent a letter to Pauri police requesting an FIR against the Senior Administrative Officer. Upon receiving the complaint, the police have begun an investigation.

Principal Assistant Manoj Bhandari, Junior Assistant Vikesh Negi, and Sachin Bhandari, who are employed at the Pauri District Panchayat, submitted a complaint letter to the Additional Chief Officer in October 2024. In the letter, they reported the disappearance of the computer, printer, UPS, and official documents from the office. Acting on this, the AMA constituted a four-member committee to investigate the matter.

The investigation team, headed by Financial Consultant Dr. Sudesh Chandra Jugran, found that the missing items were last under the custody of the Senior Administrative Officer. Additionally, staff members informed the committee that documents taken by the officer were never returned.

District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan stated that a complaint has been received regarding the missing equipment and documents from the construction section of the District Panchayat Pauri, and necessary directions have been given to hand over the investigation to the Pauri police.
