Speaker Fails to Run Assembly Secretariat, Should Resign: Jan Sangharsh Morcha

Officers are running the Secretariat as per their whims!

No record of letters, no trace of registered posts!

Even the Commission is reprimanding the officers!

Vikasnagar: Jan Sangharsh Morcha President and former GMVN Vice Chairman, Raghunath Singh Negi, while addressing the media, said that the way the Assembly Secretariat is being run, it appears as if the entire Secretariat has become orphaned! Assembly Speaker Ritu Khanduri has failed to maintain control over the officers, who are taking advantage of the situation by turning public interest and public concern-related letters into piles of garbage.

In several cases, even the Hon’ble Information Commission has reprimanded the officers of the Assembly Secretariat, instructing them to improve their functioning. However, due to the Speaker’s inexperience and incompetence, she has failed to rein in the officers!

The Speaker seems too occupied in defending fraudsters and mafias!

For the first time in the country’s history, senior officials are sending as many as nine reminders to their subordinates, yet the officers are not even responding. This shows the pathetic state of affairs in the Assembly Secretariat!

The Morcha demands the resignation of the Assembly Speaker for her failure.
