The accused who spread terror by firing in Dineshpur area was caught by the police in just 7 hours.
The pistol, cartridges and Bolero vehicle used in the incident were recovered fro the accused.

As per the orders of Senior Superintendent of Police, District Udham Singh Nagar and under the direction of Additional Superintendent of Police (City) and under the close supervision of Mr. Circle Officer Pantnagar and under the able leadership of Police Station Head Dineshpur, a team formed under the police station area on 21.03.2025, in the evening near Sukhija Tile Factory, Rambagh Dineshpur, the accused shot the plaintiff Mahipal Gangwar son of Shri Nathu Lal resident- Village Sonar Kheda Police Station Kemri Rampur, presently resident- Sukhija Tile Factory, Rambagh Road, Dineshpur with the intention of killing him over money transaction. Based on the complaint of the plaintiff, a case FIR No. 52/2025 was registered in this police station under sections 109/115(2)/352 BNS and 3/25 Arms Act and the named accused Ravi Kashyap, son of Mohanlal, resident of village Aaro, police station Khajuria, district Rampur (Uttar Pradesh), age 20 years, was arrested from Punjabi Rasoi Dholpur Khanpur, police station Dineshpur with 01 illegal pistol of 315 bore, one empty cartridge and two live cartridges of 315 bore and vehicle car number UK06BL5302 Mahindra Bolero.
