In Roorkee, the Haridwar-Roorkee Development Authority (HRDA) is actively cracking down on unauthorized colonies in rural areas. In Bhagwanpur region of Roorkee, colonies being developed without official approval are being targeted by HRDA’s bulldozers.

This ongoing action has caused panic among illegal colony mafias. Today, bulldozers were deployed in the well-known Samrat Colony of Bhagwanpur, as well as in Pratap Colony. Authorities expect a significant increase in government revenue from these operations.
