On the auspicious occasion of Chaitra Navratri, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh formally launched the ‘Gargi Nari Shakti’ chatbot and dedicated it to the public.
This Artificial Intelligence-based chatbot will provide women with assistance related to legal aid, career counseling, financial literacy, safety measures, and healthcare services. The application will be available on the Play Store. On the occasion of Durga Ashtami, the Governor performed the traditional worship of young girls, seen as incarnations of the Goddess, and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the people of the state.
He said that it is a joyous coincidence that on this sacred occasion of Navratri, we are dedicating an innovative technological initiative like the ‘Gargi’ chatbot to our women power. This initiative is a step forward in women empowerment and will digitally strengthen the women of Uttarakhand.
The Governor described the ‘Gargi Nari Shakti’ chatbot as a significant step in empowering women in the digital era. He said that the chatbot will raise awareness among women about their rights and opportunities and guide them towards self-reliance.
