A major road accident took place in Singhniwala, Dehradun. In this tragic incident, one person and a schoolchild lost their lives. The accident occurred when a bus traveling from Vikasnagar to Dehradun collided with a loader in Singhniwala and overturned.
At the time of the accident, the bus was carrying a large number of schoolchildren and other passengers. As the bus overturned, panic and screams broke out. The collision was so intense that a child and one adult died on the spot, while 14 others sustained serious injuries.
The injured were immediately taken to Jhajhra Graphic Era Hospital for treatment. Upon receiving the information, police teams from Sahaspur and Premnagar stations rushed to the spot. Vikasnagar SDM Vinod Kumar and Sahaspur MLA Sahdev Singh Pundir also reached the accident site.
