Late at night, members of Hindu organizations created a massive uproar at Dak Pathar intersection in Vikas Nagar for several hours.

The situation in the Himachal-Uttarakhand border area, where 13 cow remains were recently found in the Yamuna River, had not yet settled when another cow carcass was discovered in the Dak Pathar region of Vikas Nagar..

This reignited tensions, and within no time, hundreds of people associated with Hindu organizations gathered, raised slogans, and staged a protest at the Dak Pathar intersection, demanding strict action against the culprits.

As the situation escalated, additional police forces from multiple stations and PAC teams were called to the scene. Seeing the intensity of the protest, SDM Vinod Kumar and SP Rural Renu Lohani arrived at the spot and worked for hours to pacify the agitated crowd. They assured the protesters that the culprits would be arrested soon.

SP Rural Renu Lohani stated that just two days ago, 13 cow remains were found, and within 12 hours, the accused were arrested. She added that the repeated incidents of cow slaughter suggest that certain elements are deliberately trying to disturb communal harmony. She urged the public to remain calm, assuring that the police are actively taking action and advising people not to believe in misleading rumors.
