Doiwala Sugar Mill Ends Season with 0.3% Higher Recovery Than Last Year*

The crushing season of Doiwala Sugar Mill for 2024-25 is in its final phase. Compared to last year, the mill has achieved a 0.3% increase in sugar recovery. Doiwala Sugar Mill is the first in the state to produce more sugar than the previous year, which is attributed to the increased sugarcane yield in the region.

This year, the Doiwala Cane Committee set a target of 30 lakh quintals of sugarcane for the mill, out of which the sugar mill successfully processed 27.75 lakh quintals. The good sugarcane harvest has brought joy to farmers in the region.
