A few days ago, Lansdowne MLA Mahant Dalip Rawat had stated that only madrasas operate illegally, while other educational institutions run according to the rules. Responding to this, Congress State President Karan Mahara attacked Dalip Rawat, saying that Rawat is trying to apply balm to the government because cabinet seats are vacant, and he has his eyes on those positions.
Karan Mahara further said that since Dalip Rawat is a saint, he should focus on prayers and worship instead of getting involved in such matters. Mahara added that he speaks without thinking.
