NSG Inspector Pays Homage to Late Assistant Commander Harish Singh Negi

An NSG Inspector visited pauri to pay tribute at the statue installation site of late NSG Assistant Commander Harish Singh Negi in the school where he received his primary education.

VO: In 1990, Assistant Commander Harish Singh Negi, a brave son of Pauri, was martyred in a terrorist encounter during an attack in Punjab. To honor his sacrifice, his statue was unveiled today at his primary school, where he was respectfully remembered.
His family members, local MLA Rajkumar Pori, and Pauri Municipal Council President Himani Negi were also present during the event.

The NSG Inspector stated that it was a moment of pride for NSG to have a memorial for their martyr established at his primary school. He mentioned that this initiative would inspire children.
Local MLA Rajkumar Pori emphasized that both the state and central governments are continuously working to honor martyrs, and as part of this effort, the statue of Shaheed Harish Singh Negi was inaugurated at his school to serve as an inspiration for students.

The martyr’s family members expressed their pride in his dedication to the nation. They also mentioned that Uttarakhand has a legacy of martyrs, and future generations should learn from their sacrifices.
